Sometimes People actually read my Blog...

I posted a blog recently on MySpace about how I have a bad habit of walking away from friendships as my life has progressed. I mentioned some of the friends that I left behind, but I also made this statement: "...Sure I met people in the Navy and made new friends, but most of these were along the lines of party friends." This was a pretty unfair statement. I did make at least 3 friends that were worth mentioning. Michael West from NAS Alameda(PSD) who died in 2005, Stewart Evans from NAS Alameda(PSD), now retired in Arizona, and my dear friend and roommate from NAS North Island (HC-1) Denise Brown. I had maintained contact with Stew and Michael, but I lost contact with Denise. Somehow she tracked me down just in time to bust me for posting a blog referring to my Navy friends as "party friends". I have tried unsuccessfully to find Denise through social media several times, but I had finally given up. I am soooo happy that at long last Denise and I have reconnected. We have so much to catch up on.

Denise is the one with the beautiful red hair, I'm the one that looks like a deer in the headlights.
